# Running tend — leaf

## Titles say what the problem is

A PR or issue title is read by people who have not seen the diff — in a
notification, in a run list, in the merge commit that stays on `main`. Leaf's own
commit titles are imperative and elliptical, and matching that register on a fix
whose subject is machinery the reader has never met produces a title only its
author can decode. Keep the imperative voice; drop the ellipsis.

Say plainly what is broken and what goes wrong with it. Name the concrete thing —

"Retry the click when Playwright never reports the tab it opened"
- "Give the work-line absence a control rather than a 250ms budget" →
"Replace a 250ms sleep in the work-line test with a real control"

Then read the finished title as someone holding only the notification. If it
needs the body to make sense, rewrite it. The body is where the figure, the
contrast, and the reading behind them belong.
