Not working with flutter 1.0

This is a great amount of efforts in doing this. I tried to follow your medium article but couldn't get it working for executing my own flutter project though the stock example works fine on my Windows machine. I am using flutter 1.0.0.

Does flutter release break the desktop version frequently?
