Tiled 0.9 Release Plan

The idea is to release 0.9.0 in 2012 2013, with string freeze as early as possible, but no later than a week before release.

Note that this plan doesn't talk about the things already done for this release, which is quite a bit. The below list does include all the things from the Tiled 0.8 Release Plan that haven't been done so far.

List of things that can and probably should still be done

• Correctly update the polygon point selection when removing or joining nodes, or when splitting segments
• Special handling of plugins that implement both a reader and a writer (issue #18 and its pull request)
• Add "All Files" filter when choosing an image file
• Additional actions in tile context menu (issue #7)
• Improved Eraser (issue #128)

Things with somewhat lower priority

• Show map border (issue #10)
• Grid display options (grid color is now configurable)

These most likely won't make it

• Individual images in tilesets (is partly done)
• Embedded images in TMX files (is partly done)
• Scripting support
• Improved property editor
