tests/test_leo_bans.py fails on feat-cmux-next (cmux-next checks, "god files, concurrency, crash safety, l10n"), because webviews/src/agent-session/acpmux/conversation/SpinnerLooksBoard.css:7 names the system font (-apple-system). That line came with #31455, and #31484's base-red pass did not change it. The UI font is Inter, via var(--font-ui) (schemas/type-scale/leo-bans.json). The gallery-only spinner board now uses var(--font-ui), with the same size and line height.

Testing

• python3 tests/test_leo_bans.py: OK on this branch. It fails on feat-cmux-next 11cda35 with "SpinnerLooksBoard.css:7: names the system font (-apple-system)".

Observed / Not run

• Observed: the leo bans test before and after, run locally (a Python script test).
• Not run: the webviews gallery. This is a CSS font change on a gallery-only board. The pre-push web lint was skipped for check:fixed-waits, which is red on base 11cda35 because of backgroundNotice.test.tsx (from cmux NEXT: Ctrl-B says when the work moved, and when Claude Code kept it in the foreground #31520), not this change.

Checked:

• The diff is one line in webviews/src/agent-session/acpmux/conversation/SpinnerLooksBoard.css. It changes -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, system-ui, sans-serif to var(--font-ui). The size and line height do not change.
• Leo's bans: python3 -I scripts/cmux-next/check-leo-bans.py --rev HEAD gives leo bans: ok on the head. python3 tests/test_leo_bans.py passes 13 tests. The same check fails with the SpinnerLooksBoard.css:7 finding on base 11cda35 and on the current origin/feat-cmux-next tip, so the fix is still necessary. The CI step "Leo's bans" on this head also prints leo bans: ok.
• CSS: --font-ui is set on :root in webviews/src/pages/shared/desktop.css (generated type scale): "Inter", -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "SF Pro Text", system-ui, sans-serif. The gallery frame also uses it. font: var(--text-detail) / 1.3 var(--font-ui) is a valid shorthand (size / line-height family) after substitution. The same pattern is in DynamicWorkflow.gallery.css, BackgroundActivity.gallery.css and avatars.css. The board now shows Inter, and it falls back to the system font that it used before.
• Other checks: prepush-gate.py --base 11cda35bbb8 --head HEAD finds no new violations. check:type-scale, check:design-tokens and check:surface-roles pass.
• The other reds in the cmux-next checks job on this head are base findings in files that this PR does not touch: "Menu metrics" (NativePopupContent.swift and NativePopupSliderView.swift) and "No process scanning" (cmux-tui/crates/acpmux/src/host_load.rs:242).

Not run: the webviews bun run check Oxfmt/Oxlint pass, because there is no node_modules in the review worktree. The line keeps the formatting of the original line. The gallery capture was not run.
