Jetstream is an awesome free tool that provides features that are useful to any admin or developer working on Salesforce.

Query Builder allows quickly browsing the data model, building queries, and viewing record data
Data loader that, I think, rivals any of the other data loaders available
Ability to mass update permissions - this saves a ton of time
Ability to deploy changes between orgs, download and upload metadata packages
Anonymous apex code editor
Debug log viewer
Salesforce API explorer
Ability to publish and subscribe to platform events
