TypeScript code block support via ts

All my markdown is written in VS Code (and works on GitHub) just using the "ts" file extension after the triple backticks. This works fine for JavaScript (i.e. I can just use "js"), but for TypeScript using "ts" gives me plain text. 

Using the full name "typescript" works, so low pri, but it would be handy not to have to update all my docs and gists.
