I finally got around to setting up InfluxDB and noticed that the packets send from the power meter are not complaint with the InfluxDB line protocol.
A space to differentiate the tag set and field set fixed the issue.
I also improved the README.md somewhat and added a screenshot of InfluxDB for fun :)
