This repository contains code for processing and visualizaing climate data.

WorldClim is a high-resolution (30 arc-seconds ~ 1 km) open dataset.

To process the .bil files into a more workable numpy compressed arrays, put the extracted files in a 'worldclim' subfolder and run 'process_wordclim.py'. (upwards of 80 gig uncompressed) http://www.worldclim.org/current
