Compilation warnings

Hello ! I'm compiling with the following flags: -Wold-style-cast and -Wsign-conversion. There are plenty of warnings that could reveal to be an issue.

@Lecrapouille , I guess it will be easier to provide Pull Request, that fixes them.
I can do this, if @leethomason is interested.

@LuridHound sometimes it's hard to create a fix, especially when your own projects are time-consuming and already a pain to achieve them. Some projects, like DearImGui, prefer using the old cast style. So that's why I preferred opening a ticket and talking first with the author rather than spending 1 day of work for a PR that may never be accepted or ignored (I speak in general way). For this one, I'm no longer developing the project using it, and I used -Wno-xxxx to quiet warnings.

I've also tried to compile with -Wextra -Wall -Wpedantic using gcc - it didn't emit any new warning.
