Good news, I started last week!

Subscribe to this thread and I’ll let you know once it’s done. My intention is to have the first alpha release out in the coming weeks (in a separate repository.)

The goal of the library is to provide:

  • support for all three OpenID Connect flows
  • AccountManager integration
  • sane defaults that can be overridden for custom behaviour.

For common cases, usage should be as simple as telling a service what flow and settings to use and then declaring it in your AndroidManifest.xml.

I’ve since changed jobs, and I don’t think anyone is currently working on this.

Fortunately @kalemontes is maintaining his library that you might want to check out! I’ll update the README to link to that since this repo seems to get a fair amount of search traffic.
