Do you need a new cri-o too, for this ? The current minikube version of cri-o is for 1.11 ?

Interesting. I hadn't realized this version dependency. I'll see about updating it, but only if the newer cri-o is backwards compatible with v1.11. It seems like we may have to stop bundling cri-o in the image and/or bundle multiple versions and keep them in sync that way.
