The first practical implementation of Gateway API for service mesh as per the GAMMA initiative is to make it possible to use HTTPRoute within a mesh. The purpose of this milestone is to track the issues needed to get that into a state that we're ready to have implementations try implementing this. It should be clear that this is meant to be experimental, the results of this milestone indicate no guarantees or promise of backwards compatibility (or that the implementation wont change entirely) at this time.
