The code is still compatible with Python 2.7. When I run the example mcl_clustering.py -e 3 examples/example.csv the clusters seem to be identified correctly but if I add the -d parameter it gets stuck somewhere in matplotlib while generating the plots. I have not yet been able to identify why this is happening.
