Do you find yourself copy-pasting img tag and width attributes to replace default uploaded screenshot/image markdown in Github PRs? Now use this chrome-extension to simplify your PR process...

For development

  1. Go to Chrome Extensions management: chrome://extensions
  2. Toggle button in top-right corner to enable Developer mode
  3. Download ketu-the-img.crx
  4. Drag and drop the .crx file onto the extensions page
  5. Install by clicking on Add extension in the popup shown

Usage

Currently, this chrome extension is activated only for Github.

  1. Drag and drop or select your image as usual
  2. Once the image is uploaded, click on the extension.
  3. Enter the required width of image and click on replace! 🎉

This extension can also be used to replace multiple images with img tag in GitHub PR markdown.

Credits

Named after

In Vedic astrology, one of Ketu's duties is moksha -> freedom from the cycle of life. I figured freedom from the cycle of copy-pasting the tag every time could be one of those things Ketu is responsible for.
