Summary

  • Draw route legs as straight runs along the aisle, with short sidesteps becoming one angled stroke instead of a lean across the aisle.
  • Run the route line through a stop's badge rather than past it when the walk arrives down the aisle.
  • Centre stop badges on their space, using the aisle point level with the middle of the space for half-space stops.
  • Move marker shadows so only the badge or pin casts one: stop badges get a background disc, and the shadow no longer covers the line behind it.
  • Even out the route hold popover: separators run under row titles, rows have wider icon-to-text gaps, and edge padding matches the row gaps.
  • Preview the aisle a long-press would close as a dashed line before the closure is confirmed.
  • Hide visited checks on the map for spaces that are route stops while a route is active, so each stop shows one check on its badge.

Testing

  • xcodebuild for the CiRCLES (Production API) scheme on the generic iOS Simulator destination succeeds with the latest commit.
  • Built and launched on the iOS Simulator with a route running and a long-press on the map, to check the hold popover and aisle preview. The launch was logged, but I did not confirm the visual result in a screenshot.
  • Not run: visual check that the visited-check change hides only the map tick for active route stops. The install and relaunch were in progress when this was written.
  • Not run: Android, relay, or unit tests (no test target covers the route planner).
