@karolk91 This is the most aligned version with your polkadot-sdk version merged for westend, I cherry-picked it from here polkadot-fellows#626

you could do the same for polkadot, or just copy/paste

Nice! I was just thinking about porting these as separate PR, using

[patch.crates-io]
emulated-integration-tests-common = { git = "https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot-sdk.git", branch = "stable2503" }

to avoid bringing this duplicated stuff all over, so the PR could wait for stable2503-7 to be integrated and then above could be removed

hmm, if this patch stuff works, let's use it I am ok also with copy and then remove - it is up to you - you can merge this or either try this patch directly here :)

because stable2503-7 2025-07-28 2025-07-31 is too late

@bkontur I have discussed with Oliver about patching like that in general and I think it would only block the PR. So duplicating is better. I will just merge this PR and create a copy of this for Polkadot
