In particular, it is not trivial to interpret the solution to the new problem as a solution to the original problem, especially when adding 'multiple' rows. This could be done in code.

WIP
to make these work easily probably requires a 'Solution' class which can keep track of transforms, etc, and re-translate the solution to a solution of the original problem? but it would be a shame to not still evaluate arrays directly...
