Aside from capitalization (PowerShell), the current branding used by Microsoft is "Windows PowerShell" for version 5.1 (and earlier,
although those versions seem to be out of support) and just "PowerShell" for the multiplatform implementation (i.e. no more "Core").
I have not (yet) dropped the Core part from the other step class, because it is still in very common use (including in much of Microsoft's own materials).

  • Make sure you are opening from a topic/feature/bugfix branch (right side) and not your master branch!
  • Ensure that the pull request title represents the desired changelog entry
  • Please describe what you did
  • Link to relevant issues in GitHub or Jira
  • Link to relevant pull requests, esp. upstream and downstream changes
  • Ensure you have provided tests - that demonstrates feature works or fixes the issue

But it does update more code/text places to refer to "Windows
PowerShell".
