Nice. But by https://www.eclipse.org/projects/handbook/#roles-cm, the election should be started first, perhaps?

@gavinking @njr-11 thank you for the opportunity, but before merge, you need to do those steps first:

  1. Log in: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.query
  2. On the right side, under the section, Elections, click on Nominate a Committer
  3. explain and use either, osantanatrg or my gmail email.
  4. Have at least two approvals and wait one week.

Thanks for pointing out the term committer here refers to participants with the Committer role rather than participants who have contributed commits to the project. Otavio clearly meets the criteria for the latter, having contributed 41 commits over the last 3 months according to the link he provided, but not yet for the former.

Another reviewer pointed out that the term Committer is being used in a different context here, so my review was not valid.
