Hovered nodes layer is not cleared sometimes #1249

How to reproduce

  1. Open the events example
  2. Search for a node that is hovered by another node's label (in my case, it's Boulatruelle)
  3. Mouse your mouse hover this node, then out of it

Expected behavior

The rendering should be as it was before the node hovering.

Actual behavior

The label stays "under" the node, as in this image:
