This change is the one breaking the lint. I'll take a look because I do remember that @dgn push a change to avoid minor updates

Nevermind the change from Daniel was to avoid major release update. We need to check was going on with this gitleaks minor version change

We need to update go to be able to use this new gitleak version:

Bumping the go patch version in the build-tools: istio/tools#3309. Once is merged and new image is created and updated in the repo it will work again

The image was not updated yet in the common-files repository because the postsubmit job failed in the tools repository: https://prow.istio.io/view/gs/istio-prow/logs/containers_tools_postsubmit/1995542498289651712?rerun=gh_redirect. Checking to update the repo and get the update in the image in our repo too
