• Mechanisms, Genomic Risk Stratification and Precision Intervention for Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Children with Down syndrome (ML-DS)

Description:

• We will apply sophisticated sequencing technology to a large cohort of samples from children with myeloid leukemia, relapsed leukemia and transient leukemia of DS. We will scan all leukemic cell genes for damage (whole genome sequencing), abnormal activity (RNA-Seq) and presence of marks that change activity but not information content of genes (epigenetic or methylation analysis).
