Fundamental Science in the era of AI

This ICLR 2020 workshop will address a number of pressing topics: What is good fundamental science in an era when AI is becoming core to the way scientists interrogate and understand the physical world? How can AI help deal rigorously with the data deluge of “big science”? How can AI help amplify the social impact of fundamental science?
