@ibrahimcesar @khromov I saw your posts on the AWS Amplify Console SSR feature request.

We're looking to deploy within the week and so can't wait for Amplify to release SSR.

Can you help me with a short guide on how to implement what you did here to my own project? Thanks!

Hello @lvillacin ,

The development for NextJS SSR for Amplify is exactly the same for NextJS SSR... So you can follow Nader workshop in this regard: video on YouTube and the repo with a step by step guide. I expanded Nader's work to use CDK as in this repo if interests you.

But I need to clarify two things:

1. This repository if not an example of how deploy SSR with Amplify but with CDK Construct
2. I'm also eager to see Amplify NEXtJS SSR deployment but is not a feature released for use yet. Only some developers asked to participated had the access. So you'll need to wait until is released and announced, but as I said before (and I tested) is an almost zero config deployment in SSR just developed in regular SSR way. This is the code I used in my tests. I gave my feedback and now I'm waiting for the release of this new type of deployment too. If you need right away SSR with Next.JS em Amplify you'll have to deploy using Fargate.

Thanks for this @ibrahimcesar! I might go ahead and use Fargate since it doesn't seem to be too hard to implement and I already use fargate for my rest API. Thank you so much!
