Not sure where the animation is even coming from, it's not something PPSSPP implements.

Is it the same with D3D vs Vulkan for example?

Most likely this is coming from some drivers or Windows 11 thing. I'm still using Windows 10 and NVIDIA - this doesn't happen for me, there's no animation whatsoever.

Maybe it's a amd thing mpv-player/mpv#9004

Hm. I don't really know that we can do much about it anyway, so this'll stay low priority. Since the picture stabilizes fairly quickly, it doesn't really hinder use of the emulator. I suppose one thing we could do in theory is to make the screen black during resize so the awkward animation is invisible, but unclear on the value of this.

I plan to switch to nvidia gpu, will test it once again i do to know if this is amd-only problem.
