Thanks for looking into this, but since I'm a totally newbie in terms of github I'm not quite sure whether there still is something to test or if "all checks have passed"?
But if there still is something to test, i would need some guidance on how to do that; e.g. what files to replace and where to get them.

Alright, after doing some research I've put the updated yamaha.py into /usr/share/hassio/homeassistant/custom_components/media_player and after a restart, there are no more errors spamming the log!
