Make sure you are running the latest version of Home Assistant before reporting an issue.

You should only file an issue if you found a bug. Feature and enhancement requests should go in the Feature Requests section of our community forum:

Home Assistant release (hass --version):
0.50.1

Python release (python3 --version):
3.4

Component/platform:

light/tplink
Description of problem:
The brightness functionality of LB100 bulbs doesnt work as intended. Whenever I turn on bulbs using homeassistant, it always starts off with minumum brightness and when I turn the slider to even 100%, it doesnt alter the brightness of the bulb.

Expected:
Fix the brighness component of light.tplink

Problem-relevant configuration.yaml entries and steps to reproduce:

light:
  - platform: tplink
    name: bedroom_light
    host: 192.168.1.3

Traceback (if applicable):
