And what should that be, a link to our web page? What will we say, given that it's rather temporary anyway?

You mean because there will be an integrated search and you will be able to download apps directly inside Hive and so on?

I think we could either show some small popup that says something like "To install a new app, download it from our github profile [link] and open it in finder" or just link to a wiki page here that says more or less the same thing.
