Round 10: real value from history — scores, forecast, money in vs out, restore paging, savings rollover - #148
Conversation
…ry-based forecast, money in vs out, restore paging, savings rollover fixes - scoring: backfill period scores for imported periods, persist level, meters-not-applicable normalisation, income excluded from discipline, progress card - forecast: per-category history baseline blended with the in-period run rate, insights - money direction: income is no longer counted as spending (transaction list, weekly nudge); start-period CTAs when the current period has no envelopes - restore: deterministic ordering before every paged range - rollover: one contribution per persistent fund group (duplicates by name), at most one opening balance per fund Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

In `@src/data/sync/RestoreService.ts`:
- Around line 452-453: Replace offset-based range pagination in the restore flow
with keyset pagination using the unique order column, carrying the last row’s
key into the next query and preserving ascending ordering and page-size limits.
Ensure all rows are traversed without relying on stabiliseCursor or replay to
recover rows shifted by deletions.
In `@src/domain/forecasting/ForecastInsight.ts`:
- Around line 28-35: Update projectedText so the baseline-present branch names
forecast.projectedTotalSpendCents while retaining the baseline
typicalPeriodSpendCents and envelope name as context; update the affected
assertions in the related tests to match the revised text.
In `@src/domain/transactions/moneyDirection.ts`:
- Around line 66-72: Update summariseMoney to accumulate income amounts in a
signed total during the row loop, then assign receivedCents as the absolute
value of that total when returning the summary; keep incomeCount and spentCents
behavior unchanged. Update the corresponding moneyDirection test expectation for
the reversal case to 2_500_00.
In `@src/presentation/hooks/useBackfillPeriodScores.ts`:
- Line 52: Update the post-pass condition in useBackfillPeriodScores to run when
either recorded or recomputed is greater than zero, ensuring recomputed period
scores also trigger level derivation and listener notification.
In `@src/presentation/screens/forecasting/ForecastScreen.tsx`:
- Around line 203-209: Update the TypicalPeriodHeader props in ForecastScreen to
pass the maximum periodsObserved across all typicalCategories instead of relying
on the first category, and adjust the header headline to say “up to” that count.
Preserve the existing total, category count, and rollover behavior.
In `@src/presentation/screens/slipScanning/components/EnvelopePickerSheet.tsx`:
- Around line 75-78: Update the duplicate filtering around EnvelopeOption
selection so each envelope type/name group retains the canonical persistent-fund
carrier, ordered by earliest created_at and then id, rather than the first input
row. Reuse the shared rollover grouping logic if available, or add the required
identity fields to EnvelopeOption and apply the same ordering before onSelect
returns the retained ID.
In `@src/presentation/screens/transactions/TransactionListScreen.tsx`:
- Around line 282-289: Update the search branch of totalLabel to explicitly
label the spent amount and append the received amount when
periodMoney.incomeCount is greater than zero, using periodMoney.receivedCents.
Preserve the unchanged spending-only non-search label and existing match-count
wording.
In `@tests/realsql/categoryHistory.test.ts`:
- Around line 97-104: Update seedTransaction so the deleted_at parameter binds
null when TransactionSeed.deletedAt is omitted, while preserving explicitly
provided deletion timestamps.

…computed scores refresh level, income netted signed, clearer forecast and search copy Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Why
The app captured data but gave nothing back for a household with a large imported history: no scores for past periods, a forecast that ignored history, salary counted as spending, and rollover bugs on savings funds.
What
score_history), persists the level, normalises the score when meters don't apply, excludes income envelopes from discipline, adds a progress card (dashboard + settings).(type, lower(trim(name)))), blended with the in-period run rate by elapsed share; plain-language insights.orderbefore every pagedrange, so a large table can't skip/duplicate rows across pages.created_at, then id); a fund gets at most one opening balance ever.No synced columns/tables added, no migration, no edge function change.
Tests
tsc, eslint clean. Jest: 374 suites pass; the 5
twoDevicesuites need Postgres and run in thedbjob.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
