Description

Support for aks nodepools with min count to 0. I have seen there is a TODO at the code, but I couldn't find any issue to keep track of this feature.

New or Affected Resource(s)

  • azurerm_kubernetes_cluster_node_pool

Potential Terraform Configuration

resource "azurerm_kubernetes_cluster_node_pool" "user" {
  name                  = "user"
  kubernetes_cluster_id = azurerm_kubernetes_cluster.aks.id
  vm_size               = "Standard_DS2_v2"
  enable_auto_scaling   = true
  min_count             = 0
  max_count             = 20
  max_pods              = 80
}

This has been released in version 2.31.0 of the provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. As an example:

provider "azurerm" {
    version = "~> 2.31.0"
}
# ... other configuration ...
