Closing this auto-committed draft. It holds the working spine design (docs/plans/execution-spine-design.md), which is actively guiding the get-main-green effort (the two-job CI split, #6352). The doc still frames an earlier A/B option that the operator two-job-split decision superseded, so rather than flip stale content to review, I am closing this premature auto-PR. The doc persists on the branch and keeps guiding the work; it will be re-landed as a proper design-of-record (updated for the decisions taken + inbound-linked to avoid the orphan-doc lens) once the spine first slice merges. Not abandoned, just not a review-ready artifact yet. |

- ci_spec_witness_test spec_alternate_notice gains the new discovery_scan_dirs field. - witness_gate_roster_matches_coproduct_arms was red on main since the two-job split (#6350) moved RegenVerifyGate/SelfHostStalenessGate to the GithubActionsCiRegenJob surface: gunbc_ci_gates (floor+rust) no longer covers all 11 Gate arms. Unenrolled, so nothing ran it - exactly the coverage gap the discovery flip closes (this PR's own CI now selects it). Universe extended to floor+rust+regen gates; verified red->green by execution at the pre-flip commit vs head. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
