Worker attestation

Before flipping this PR to ready for review, confirm each item:

  • Title describes the change (not the session id or branch).
  • PR body summarises what and why (replace the TODO below).
  • Tests run: name the command (e.g. npm test, cargo test) and the result.
  • If this closes a work item, the body contains a Closes #N directive.
  • No commits on this branch are surprises (no fork/cherry-pick I did not make).
  • No secrets / credentials / large binaries staged.

Summary

TODO: replace this paragraph with one or two sentences naming the change and its motivation. Reviewers read this first.

Test plan

  • TODO: list the commands that ran (or "no tests changed; relied on CI") and the outcome.

Addressed (composer-2 review, dangling Deferred (1) / Practice 5·9)

  • json.dag: CARRIER SEAM + header-reconcile note now cite single authority as DECISIONS.md Part 6 · SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-T6T7 + SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH (no reference to a removed in-file block).
  • yaml.dag: same for the CANONICAL-MIRROR “single authority” parenthetical, CARRIER SEAM clause, and header-reconcile line.
  • toml.dag: CANONICAL-MIRROR clause now reads “Part 6 specifies it” instead of “the block specifies it” so it matches relocated authority.

Not a new finding — already landed

The thread item is the resolution summary for composer-2’s dangling Deferred (1) / Practice 5·9 issue. Current branch HEAD is f75be7db2, which contains that fix.

Verify: rg 'Deferred \\(1\\)|block below' src/v4/extdeps/formats/{json,yaml,toml}.dag → no matches on this HEAD.

No additional commit is required for this item.

Merge readiness (GitHub API snapshot): mergeable = MERGEABLE, mergeStateStatus = CLEAN, required checks on the latest run are SUCCESS (fmt, affected, ci, v4). reviews array is empty here — the ≥2 distinct api-review / dashboard approvals bar from program policy is not satisfied via gh alone; use the dashboard review digest when it is available.

composer-2 REQUEST_CHANGES — addressed (e45dcb8cd)

  • Finding: TomlDatetime temporal/RFC-3339 deferral was mis-tagged with SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH (LLVM LlvmType raw-Int width ledger), conflated with numeric/cardinality in the deferred scaffold summary.
  • Fix: New DECISIONS.md Part 6 · SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME row documents the actual awaited arrival (feature: v4 temporal substrate for RFC 3339 datetime value interpretation) and explicitly excludes SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH. toml.dag now cites that slug for datetime only; numeric + §Keys refinements stay on SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH; parse/emit stays on SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-T6T7. CANONICAL-MIRROR / CARRIER single authority parenthetical lists all three Part 6 rows.

Not new feedback — resolution recap for composer-2 RC

This thread item is the already-posted resolution for composer-2’s datetime vs SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH mis-tag; it is implemented on HEAD e45dcb8cd.

Verify: In toml.dag, every temporal / TomlDatetime cite uses SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME; SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH appears only for numeric + §Keys refinement lines (intro, TomlInt, scaffold summary numeric row, etc.). DECISIONS.md contains ### SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME with the explicit non-identity note vs LLVM-WIDTH.

No further code change is required for this item.

openai-pro (e45dcb8) — addressed in 4cbd781c9

  1. Parse vs emit / T-10 — SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-T6T7 dissolution trigger now splits parse half (T-6+T-7, P3) from emit half (compiler/05_emit.dag under TASKS.md T-10), and states explicitly that parse-only work does not unblock emit (and vice versa). Practice-9 gate string and json/yaml/toml live cites now say T-6/T-7 parse + T-10 emit so worker-facing tags match the ledger.

  2. TomlDatetime 🟡 / tracked debt — SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME named arrival now names TASKS.md T-3 (substrate / std/ temporal) + TASKS.md T-4.6 (format consumer wiring); the “no committed owning T-#” placeholder is removed. Dissolution trigger and roll-up tie closure to T-3 + T-4.6 explicitly.

claude-opus-4-7 (APPROVE + optional notes)

  • T-3 vs temporal: Confirmed: TASKS.md T-3 did not previously name RFC 3339 / clock-calendar facts; DECISIONS.md already pointed dissolution at T-3 + T-4.6. 68b8ad08c adds an explicit T-3-owned std/ vocabulary sentence under the T-3 “Shared-fact vocabulary” block and cross-locks SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME, so the gate’s substrate trigger now has a matching TASKS anchor (and “Each axis” is narrowed to numeric / physical-quantity so we do not falsely imply temporal lives in float/integer/machine).

  • json.dag comment flow: same commit splits the carrier-seam line after the Part 6 cite (cosmetic only).

That text is the author’s PR-thread resolution for openai-pro on e45dcb8c, documenting what landed in 4cbd781c9 (parse vs emit / T-10 + TomlDatetime owners). It is not new reviewer feedback and does not need a second implementation pass beyond what is already on the branch (latest follow-up: 68b8ad08c for the claude-opus T-3/temporal scope check).

claude-opus-4-7 review 14008 (68b8ad08c) — APPROVE

Verified against current HEAD: verdict matches the diff (comment/DECISIONS/TASKS consolidation only; carriers unchanged).

The SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH vs format numeric-VALUE cite is explicitly exploratory / non-blocking in the artifact. The row’s Part 6 text already documents the bounded-natural / refinement substrate scope for format lexemes; a slug rename or a numeric-VALUE–specific Part 6 row would be a separate Practice-4 hygiene train (wide blast radius across ledgers + live cites). No commit on this PR for that.

BLOCKING (2)

Root Cause

  • src/v4/TASKS.md temporal substrate ownership was added as prose under T-3 without a corresponding scheduled carrier home → name the std temporal file/carrier and add it to the T-3/T-4.6 dependency and decision records.
  • src/v4/DECISIONS.md format numeric/key-refinement bridges were compressed under the LLVM width family without a dedicated ledger row → add a format scalar/key refinement row naming the std/text, std/integer, std/float, and T-25-core owners, then repoint json/toml/yaml.

⚠️ The PR fixes the TOML datetime split directionally, but the new gate pointers still leave two substrate-arrival records non-checkable or misattributed.

Violations (could not place on specific lines):

  • src/v4/TASKS.md:254 BLOCKING: This adds T-3 ownership for RFC 3339 temporal substrate without naming a concrete std/ carrier/file in the T-3 file list or T-4.6 task, so the TOML datetime bridge still lacks a checkable dissolution arrival (INVARIANTS P5/M10).

claude-opus-4-7 review 14025 (fedc690a7) — APPROVE

Verified on current HEAD: docs-only consolidation + Part 6 gates (SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-T6T7, SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME), TASKS.md T-3/T-4.6 naming src/v4/std/datetime.dag as the checkable temporal arrival, and TomlDatetime kept orthogonal to SL-3229-LLVM-WIDTH. No code changes required for this artifact.

codex 14063 (7a92c9f46) — REQUEST_CHANGES addressed on 8a3ea1997

Verified: findings were valid on the parent SHA (de-prose had dropped two named scaffolds).

YAML §3.2.1.3 canonical mapping keys: Added DECISIONS.md Part 6 · SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-YAML-3213-MAPKEY (checkable dissolution: yaml_parse + §3.2.1.3 canonical equality / Rejected path). yaml.dag: Scope + Ledger + Practice-9 one-liner cite that slug (see current yaml.dag tail).

JSON unique-names / I‑JSON profile vs bare RFC 8259 §4: Added DECISIONS.md Part 6 · SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-JSON-IJSON-UNIQUENESS. json.dag: Scope names the stricter-than-§4 profile; Ledger + 🟡 one-liner cite the row (see current json.dag header + tail).

BLOCKING (2)

Root Cause

  • src/v4/DECISIONS.md format de-prose moved per-carrier Practice-4 receipts behind a language/float-only bulk slug → add explicit Part 6 rows for JsonValue/TomlValue/YamlValue or restore precise in-file receipts, then repoint the one-line tags.
  • src/v4/extdeps/formats/toml.dag TOML value-shape de-prose dropped the table-syntax reconciliation receipt → either collapse the duplicate table arms now or record a TOML-specific 🟡 trigger with the authority that makes the remaining split temporary.

⚠️ The de-prose pass loses required coproduct receipts and makes a non-terminal TOML value split look terminal.

Codex schedule review (sha 8a3ea199) — verified on current tip

  1. CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL vs format value sums: Part 6 has ### CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES with per-file merge-base counts + git show 92cb26402eeb21471acb6ac47559cbae3b52afdb: recovery for json.dag / yaml.dag / toml.dag. CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL scopes to extdeps/languages/* + std/float.dag only. Live 🟢 one-liners + // Ledger: on those three files cite CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES.

  2. TomlInlineTable / TomlTable: Part 6 ### SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-TABLE-SPLIT documents the construction-syntax / dual-arm receipt; toml.dag has the matching 🟡 one-liner + Ledger slug.

Follow-up (this push): scripts/strict_deprose_dag.py merge-base green face for paths under extdeps/formats/ now maps to CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES so automation matches Part 6 (5fd6d264726f155476686f440083006aaee47983).

Verification (cursor/composer-2 APPROVE artifact, vs 5fd6d2647)

  • Findings None — confirmed. JsonValue / YamlValue / TomlValue each carry a single 🟢 one-liner to CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES; deferred work is only the separate // 🟡 gated — feature:… lines with Part 6 slugs. No new v3 hand-Rust surface in this lane.
  • Exploratory (// Ledger: vs Practice 9): not a defect. DECISIONS.md Part 6 (PR D2-impact de-prose: verilog/llvm_ir/ptx + std integer/float — terse headers, archive, strict_deprose_dag.py #3229 block) ratifies the live // Ledger: line as the file-level Part 6 slug inventory and ties it to scripts/strict_deprose_dag.py’s “every slug on // Ledger: has a ### row” gate. That is orthogonal to the per-coproduct 🟢/🟡/🔴 one-liners (classification vs checklist). Folding Ledger into tags would drop the inventory hook the operator directive already names.

Merge readiness (GitHub + CI, same tip): mergeStateStatus=CLEAN, required checks pass (fmt, affected, ci, v4). pulls/3261/reviews currently shows only COMMENTED relay entries (codex schedule bodies on older SHAs), no REQUEST_CHANGES review state. For the dashboard rule ≥2 distinct api-review APPROVE (openai-pro weighted), confirm tallies in your review feed — substrate/CI side looks merge-ready; no further code change for this item.

Verification (claude-opus-4-7 artifact / review 14128)

The relay body is Verdict: APPROVE with no actionable findings — nothing to fix in code.

Checked on $(git rev-parse --short HEAD) vs merge-base(HEAD, origin/main):

  • Format .dag: unified diff has no non-// carrier edits beyond trivial blank-line churn (no type/data/module line changes in the substantive diff slice).
  • DECISIONS.md Part 6: all six cited headings exist: SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-T6T7, SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-DATETIME, SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-YAML-3213-MAPKEY, SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-JSON-IJSON-UNIQUENESS, CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES, SL-3229-T4-FORMAT-TOML-TABLE-SPLIT.
  • TASKS.md: names src/v4/std/datetime.dag as the scheduled temporal home; file is absent in-tree (expected until landing PR).
  • strict_deprose_dag.py: merge-base green for paths under extdeps/formats/ maps to CP-3229-GREEN-FORMAT-VALUES (partitioned from bulk CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL).
  • src/v3/: no files touched on this branch vs that merge-base.

If the dashboard still flags this as “blocking,” it is a false positive for an APPROVE-with-zero-findings artifact — no commit indicated.

Verification (inline BLOCKING @ json.dag:11, tip c3b821802) — finding does not hold

CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL does still index the T-4.6 JsonValue / YamlValue merge-base 🟢 receipts:

  • The Part 6 table lists src/v4/extdeps/formats/json.dag | 1 and src/v4/extdeps/formats/yaml.dag | 1 next to the language + std/float.dag bulk rows (DECISIONS.md around the ### CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL subsection).
  • Recovery includes git show 92cb26402eeb21471acb6ac47559cbae3b52afdb:src/v4/extdeps/formats/json.dag and the same for yaml.dag.
  • Ratification in that subsection explicitly names the format rows as the authoritative recovery home for the live one-line JsonValue / YamlValue 🟢 tags in extdeps/formats/{json,yaml}.dag.

TomlValue is not supposed to use that 🟢 bulk row on this tip: the same ratification paragraph states TomlValue is intentionally excluded because SL-3229-TOML-TABLE-SYNTAX supersedes the old green receipt with the 🟡 table-syntax gate — see toml.dag’s coproduct one-liner + Part 6 ### SL-3229-TOML-TABLE-SYNTAX.

So Practice-4 / P5 recovery for the JSON/YAML value sums is present and checkable under CP-3229-GREEN-TERMINAL; TOML is routed to the 🟡 row by design, not a missing GREEN ledger.

Codex schedule (c3b82180): “no changed lines in provided diff” / no blocking concerns — aligned with current tree after merge; nothing further to patch for that artifact.

Merge readiness (GitHub): mergeable=MERGEABLE, mergeStateStatus=CLEAN; latest visible checks (fmt, affected, ci) pass on the current rollup. Operator merge only (no gh pr merge from agents).
