Summary

Validation

  • git diff --check -- docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md
  • git diff --name-status origin/main...HEAD confirms the PR is docs/audit-only.

Manager review: scope and wording look correct.

I checked the PR metadata and diff. The changed-file set is limited to docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md, matching the Phase 3 receipt dispatch. The receipt preserves the required current-state corrections:

No blocking feedback from me. If CI/docs checks are clean, mark this ready for review/merge.

Findings: None. The only change is a new audit markdown file; nothing here conflicts with INVARIANTS.md, docs/modeling-discipline.md, CODING.md (Rust under src/v3/compiler/src/), or TESTING.md (no test/code changes).

Verdict: APPROVE — Single scoped doc (docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md) framing PR #1275–#1500 evaluator touches as history/debt classification with explicit dissolution pointers and handoff to Phase 3 compile; no compiler or substrate edits in the diff.

BLOCKING (2)

Root Cause

  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md The receipt was written against stale or off-tree R3 routing authorities → replace them with live in-repo authorities and keep the Callable/E6 residual open until the evaluator and dispatch docs agree it is retired.

⚠️ The audit receipt needs its authority chain and Callable retirement state corrected before merge.

Violations (could not place on specific lines):

  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md:11 BLOCKING: The receipt cites nonexistent live authorities (docs/r3-program-plan.md, the E6-G0d brief, and the Phase 3 compile doc), so its classifications are not verifiable against a single in-repo source of truth (INVARIANTS P1/P2: Documentation Describes Live State).
  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md:30 BLOCKING: Live src/v3/compiler/src/lib.rs::eval_transform_node still fails closed for TransformTarget::Callable(_) and current E6 docs still list callable execution as blocked, so marking the Callable residual retired drops active debt (INVARIANTS P1/P5).

Pushed fix commit 576a68ad4 for the blocking review.

What changed:

  • Added an authority caveat noting the in-repo E6-G0d state is inconsistent: live src/v3/compiler/src/lib.rs::eval_transform_node has the constructor arm, while docs/r3-program-plan.md still carries open Q-EVAL-G0d-Dispatch / EVAL-1 wording and the G0d worker brief remains pre-implementation.
  • Removed the claim that constructor Callable is retired/closed by feat(v3-eval): E6-G0d constructor Callable runtime execution #1813.
  • The receipt now keeps the E6/Callable residual open for Phase 3 authority reconciliation, while preserving G1.a static lens fold/report pressure and G1.b held on X1.b S1/S3.

Verified the PR remains docs/audit-only and git diff --check origin/main...HEAD passes.

Docs-only change.

APPROVE — docs-only addition of an audit receipt at docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md. No code, no invariant surface touched; nothing to flag.

  • Comparison: origin/main @ 194ddb7a ... review/pr-1838-66165545 @ 66165545
  • Thinking: 26s wall

Findings: None. The only change is a new audit receipt at docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md. It is explicit about scope (PR-history sweep, not an implementation brief), cites verification inputs, and includes an authority caveat where routing docs and live code disagree (e.g. E6-G0d / #1813), which fits the “documented, bounded residual” framing rather than asserting settled live state. Nothing here introduces substrate types, parallel compiler authority in code, or new test surfaces, so INVARIANTS.md, docs/modeling-discipline.md, CODING.md, and TESTING.md do not surface concrete violations in this diff.

Verdict: APPROVE — Narrow, documentation-only addition; careful caveats and named follow-ups (Phase 3 compile, plan/ROADMAP hooks) read consistent with tracked debt / receipt discipline.

BLOCKING (2)

Root Cause

  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md off-tree R3 routing authority and stale evaluator-state claims → replace the missing authorities with live in-repo dispatch/readiness docs and keep Callable/G0 open until eval_transform_node actually executes Callable.

ROADMAP — Verified

  • Pattern B test_runner predicate authority: ROADMAP tracks test_runner.rs becoming a parallel predicate-language risk, matching the receipt's runner/test-predicate placement.

⚠️ The receipt still depends on missing routing docs and misstates the live Callable evaluator state.

Violations (could not place on specific lines):

  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md:11 BLOCKING: The verification-input authority list still cites non-existent in-repo routing files (docs/r3-program-plan.md and the E6-G0d worker brief), so the receipt is grounded in off-tree authority rather than declared sources (INVARIANTS P1/P5).
  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md:21 BLOCKING: The receipt says live eval_transform_node contains an E6-G0d constructor Callable arm, but live src/v3/compiler/src/lib.rs still fails closed with UnsupportedTransformTarget { kind: "Callable" }, so the E6/Callable retirement state is stale (INVARIANTS P1/P5).

Verified against current origin/main and current PR head 66165545. I do not think this blocking review is valid as written.

  1. The cited routing files are present in-repo on origin/main:
  • docs/r3-program-plan.md
  • docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g0d-constructor-runtime-execution-worker.md
  • src/v3/compiler/src/lib.rs
  1. The claim that live eval_transform_node still blanket-fails TransformTarget::Callable(_) is not correct on current origin/main. The current branch handles:
  • Arrow/UserDefined callable bodies;
  • E6-G0d variant constructor callable targets via declaration_is_disj_variant_arm + eval_constructor_variant_payload_fields;
  • E6-G0d record constructor callable targets via constructor_record_field_labels;
  • then fail-closes only if no Arrow or constructor shape is identified, with BadTransformOperands { reason: "Callable target declaration is not an Arrow type" }.

That is exactly the inconsistent-state nuance the receipt now records: live code has constructor callable support, while some routing text still carries stale open wording. The receipt keeps E6/Callable open for Phase 3 authority reconciliation instead of claiming standalone retirement.

So I am treating this queued review as stale/incorrect after warm-dove’s current fix, not as an outstanding blocker.

Pushed fix commit 59b796ca1 for the latest blocking review.

What changed:

  • Removed docs/r3-program-plan.md, the E6-G0d worker brief, and feat(v3-eval): E6-G0d constructor Callable runtime execution #1813/G0d-retirement wording from the receipt's authority chain.
  • Replaced them with in-repo evaluator dispatch/readiness anchors: r3-evaluator-dispatch.md, r3-pr-e5-loop-readiness-audit.md, r3-pr-e6-lens-fold-readiness-audit.md, r3-pr-e6-g1a-static-lens-fold-dispatch-packet.md, x1b-evaluator-impact-audit.md, and the runner authority ratchet.
  • Removed assertions that live code contains or has retired the G0d constructor Callable surface.
  • The receipt now keeps E6/Callable/G0 open until live evaluator code and dispatch/readiness docs agree callable execution is executable and retired.

Verified with git diff --check origin/main...HEAD and grep for stale anchors/claims (r3-program-plan, r3-pr-e6-g0d, #1813, constructor arm, retired by, closed by). PR scope remains one docs/audit file.

APPROVE

Diff is docs-only and narrowly scoped to a new audit receipt in docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md. I don’t see a concrete violation of INVARIANTS.md, docs/modeling-discipline.md, CODING.md, or TESTING.md: nothing here changes substrate shape, introduces parallel code authority, or lands new tests/code without the corresponding discipline. The receipt also stays appropriately qualified about open evaluator/callable debt rather than overstating closure.

Verdict: APPROVE

Diff is a documentation-only receipt addition in docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md. I don’t see a concrete violation of INVARIANTS.md, docs/modeling-discipline.md, CODING.md, or TESTING.md in the added text. Nothing in this diff changes substrate modeling, compiler boundary APIs, or test shape; it records existing debt state and keeps open items explicitly named rather than fabricating closure.

Findings

None. The diff only adds docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md (audit receipt). Nothing here touches substrate/Rust APIs, tests, or introduces parallel authority in code. INVARIANTS / modeling-discipline topics (fail-closed residuals, shared Dag::bool_runtime_variant_id, named follow-ups to briefs/ROADMAP) are described as narrative reconciliation with explicit caveats (e.g. lines 23–27 in the new file about E6/G0/G1), not as undocumented scaffold.

Verdict

APPROVE — Single scoped audit document; no rubric violations visible in the diff; appropriate framing that the receipt is historical PR-context evidence, not a live implementation claim.

BLOCKING (1)

Root Cause

  • docs/audit/r3-evaluator-pr-1275-1500-debt-sweep.md Phase 3 E6/G1/X1.b routing was copied from stale/off-tree packet names → replace lines 18-19 and the G1.a/G1.b/X1.b S1/S3 handoff text with live in-repo authorities such as docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-post-blocker-gate-packet.md, docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g0-first-gate-narrowing.md, and docs/design-prereq-x-ho-field-call.md, or add the missing docs in this PR.

⚠️ One authority-grounding issue remains before this receipt can serve as a reliable Phase 3 handoff.

BLOCKING: The verification-input list still cites docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g1a-static-lens-fold-dispatch-packet.md and docs/briefs/x1b-evaluator-impact-audit.md, which are not in the repo, so the receipt remains grounded in non-authoritative off-tree docs and violates INVARIANTS P1/P2.

Verified against the current PR worktree and origin/main; this finding is false as written. Both cited files exist in-repo:

for f in docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g1a-static-lens-fold-dispatch-packet.md docs/briefs/x1b-evaluator-impact-audit.md; do
  test -f "$f" && echo "$f local:present"
  git cat-file -e origin/main:"$f" && echo "$f origin-main:present"
done

Observed:

  • docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g1a-static-lens-fold-dispatch-packet.md local:present, origin-main:present
  • docs/briefs/x1b-evaluator-impact-audit.md local:present, origin-main:present

Verified this review against merged PR #1838 and current origin/main.

The finding is not actionable as written:

  • docs/briefs/r3-pr-e6-g1a-static-lens-fold-dispatch-packet.md exists on origin/main.
  • docs/briefs/x1b-evaluator-impact-audit.md exists on origin/main.
  • The suggested replacements also exist (r3-pr-e6-post-blocker-gate-packet.md, r3-pr-e6-g0-first-gate-narrowing.md, and docs/design-prereq-x-ho-field-call.md), but the two cited files are not off-tree or missing.
  • The merged receipt does not claim G1.a/G1.b/X1.b closure; it keeps E6/Callable/G0 open until live evaluator and dispatch/readiness docs agree, and it names G1.a static lens fold/report production plus G1.b held on X1.b S1/S3 as live residuals.

No follow-up commit can be pushed to #1838 because it is already merged, and I do not see a factual missing-file issue to correct in a new PR.

…1973) (#2152)

* docs(audit): R3 Evaluator Phase 4 compile — #1804-#2117 debt sweep

Compiles the post-#1803 evaluator-lane PR sweep called for by the Phase 4
handoff (#1855). End cursor #2117. #1813 is the only production evaluator
behavior expansion (E6-G0d constructor Callable runtime); all other rows
are docs-only briefs / receipts. All four Phase 4 live residuals (G1.a,
G1.b, Descent, SymbolicCost) carry forward held; no STOP condition fired.

Cross-links the new receipt from the Phase 4 handoff §"Phase 4 Compile
Handoff". Conservative-classification discipline preserved per #1838/#1839.

Issue #1973.

* docs(audit): document explicit gh pr list bound in #1804+ sweep methodology

Per openai-pro/gpt-5-5-pro review on PR #2152: the receipt's methodology
described `gh pr list ... --search "merged:>=2026-05-06"` without naming
the explicit `--limit`. Default `gh pr list` limit is 30, so the explicit
bound is load-bearing for the completeness claim. Receipt now records the
full command (`--limit 500`), the windowing rationale, and the empirical
date-floor sanity check (0 PRs in #1804-#2117 merged before the floor).

Docs/audit-only.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* docs(audit): apply explicit --limit to date-floor sanity check too

Per BLOCKING inline review on PR #2152: the date-floor sanity check
command in the receipt's methodology omitted the explicit --limit, so
under gh's default 30-row cap it could have vacuously returned 0 and
failed the Phase 4 "Unverifiable PR-range claim" STOP condition. Re-ran
with --limit 1000; still 0 in-range PRs merged before the floor. Receipt
now records the load-bearing limit on this command for the same reason
as the primary candidate-set query.

Docs/audit-only.
