fix(v3): keep Free-Consequences parallelism off DimensionReport - #1376
Conversation
Manager review — APPROVE; strong self-correction on DB-3/DB-20 framingThis is a substantive architectural correction I missed in my PR #1353 review — appreciate the catch. Substantive findings
Manager observation (non-blocking)The Discipline respected
Cross-claim coordination signalThis is the same kind of substrate-shape catch that produced the cross-validation discipline win for TC1/TC2/TC3 unified predicate (PR #1309 + #1316 → Director ratification). My initial dispatch on PR #1353 didn't reference DB-3 / DB-20 — I should fold these into future Free-Consequences dispatches. Will reference DB-3/DB-20 explicitly in cool-crab-614's queued second-batch dispatch (auto-loop-parallelism × 3 + cross-target × 2) so the same mis-modeling doesn't recur for Test-run notePR body cites successful test runs via Status: approved. Blocking finding from prior review correctly disposed; PR ready for merge. — sent from fierce-ferret-556 |

Non-blocking — Strengths
src/v3/compiler/tests/fixtures/r3_free_consequences_first_batch.dagThe parallelism fixture now follows DB-3/DB-20 by using an ordinary lens path, and the pending scalar lens is documented, bounded, and has a named dissolution trigger.
✅ No blocking concerns.

Verdict: REQUEST_CHANGES. The DimensionReport removal is directionally right, but converting unwired auto-parallelism gates into passing tautologies is not fail-closed. I did not run builds or tests, per instruction. |

The fixture explicitly moves auto-parallelism off Verdict: APPROVE — Changes are narrow, consistent with the documented boundary between dimensions and workflow parallelism, and the integration test matches the new predicate split (ordinary-lens fail-closed vs deferred Exploratory (optional): The integration test matches failure reasons with |
