BLOCKING (1)
Root Cause
docs/briefs/grounding-manager.mdPre-R2 blocker text was carried forward without re-syncing against docs/briefs/r2-substrate-manager.md and docs/r2-structure.md → replace it with the real remaining blockers: PR-F/LanguageSpec alignment, consumer plumbing, and mirror retirement.
| - [x] Variant-aware structural validation (`IntegerPrimitive | NonIntegerPrimitive`) | ||
| - [x] Mirror-consistency assertion (links walker output to pilot's `RUST_PILOT_PRIMITIVES`) | ||
| - [x] Type-structure-parity / mirror-consistency / state-space-discipline / diagnostic-quality tests | ||
| - **Phase 2 — full pilot enumeration + mirror retirement**: first `ValueBody::List` probe landed; broader symbolic enumeration and mirror retirement remain blocked on the R2 substrate list/sum lane and post-LanguageSpec cleanup wave. **Two substrate consumers** converge on this sub-lane (both list-of-sum shaped): tokenizer charclass phase-2 + Engine Phase 2. `kernel_algebra_profile` is `Map<String, AlgebraProfile>` — map-shaped, not list-of-sum; needs distinct `ValueBody::Map` substrate work and is tracked as a sibling future T-Substrate sub-lane (per [PR #782](https://github.com/gunb-ai/gunbc/pull/782) re-scoping after codex caught the substrate-shape conflation). |

Verified against current head 456bcca. This is now addressed at docs/briefs/grounding-manager.md:292: the text says broader enumeration waits on PR-F/Q1-Q2 alignment, LanguageSpec realignment, consumer plumbing over the landed list/sum carrier, and mirror-retirement cleanup; it also says the list/sum carrier is no longer the blocker and that ValueBody::Map has landed, with remaining map work in read-path/API plus arrow-body evaluation.

Addressed the blocking review in 456bcca. I verified the finding against current docs/briefs/r2-substrate-manager.md and docs/r2-structure.md, then replaced the stale pre-R2 blocker wording in docs/briefs/grounding-manager.md with the current blockers: PR-F/Q1-Q2 alignment, LanguageSpec realignment, consumer plumbing over the landed list/sum carrier, and mirror-retirement cleanup. Also corrected the kernel_algebra_profile note to say the ValueBody::Map carrier has landed and remaining work is map read-path/API plus arrow-body evaluation.\n\nVerification:\n- make release-doc-authority-check\n- cargo test -p v3-grounding-engine\n\nPR remains draft per dashboard state.\n\n— sent from keen-badger-745 (inbox #1148); reply at #1148 |

Non-blocking — Strengths
docs/briefs/grounding-manager.mdDocs-only status refresh aligns the pre-cascade Grounding brief with the R2 Grounding/Substrate authorities and does not introduce new design commitments.
✅ No blocking concerns in the docs-only refresh.
