Worker attestation

Before flipping this PR to ready for review, confirm each item:

  • Title describes the change (not the session id or branch).
  • PR body summarises what and why (replace the TODO below).
  • Tests run: name the command (e.g. npm test, cargo test) and the result.
  • If this closes a work item, the body contains a Closes #N directive.
  • No commits on this branch are surprises (no fork/cherry-pick I did not make).
  • No secrets / credentials / large binaries staged.

Summary

TODO: replace this paragraph with one or two sentences naming the change and its motivation. Reviewers read this first.

Test plan

  • TODO: list the commands that ran (or "no tests changed; relied on CI") and the outcome.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

#10822 dissolved the hand-appended roster the two-homes corollary still cited as 163-vs-173. The class and the command.dag specimen stand; inventing a replacement count for a directory would be a live name on a dead mechanism.

Closing as a duplicate of #10853, which I closed earlier today by agreement with its author lane.

Same branch, same head (9a2358a954) — this PR was opened automatically at 18:28 when the lane archived, not proposed by anyone. It is the third auto-opened PR from a session branch tonight (#10844 and #10854 were the others, both closed), and unlike those two this one opened ready rather than draft, so it could have been merged by mistake.

The work itself is not lost and is not being discarded. The row this branch repairs — production_actuation_unmodeled_beside_a_modeled_probe — is not on main; it exists only on #10674, so there was no landed authority to repair, only a known-false claim about to land. The corrected receipt string from this branch has been taken verbatim into #10674 (head 7064d71e98), byte-identical to this version, so the fix lands there with one authority rather than two PRs filing the same 30-line file.

That was the whole point of closing #10853 and it applies unchanged here: two PRs adding one file is an add/add conflict, which is the class that was blocking merges across this repo earlier today.

No action needed from anyone. #10674 carries the repair.

P2 Badge Refresh the analysis that calls this class unlanded

Landing this module makes existing repository documentation immediately false: docs/plans/microvm-launch-displacement-analysis.md:7 still says this exact class is “PROPOSED, NOT LANDED” and does not resolve, while dag/gunbc/doc_graph_roots.dag:1645 says to add the failure-mode row as the document's third bound work when it lands. Without updating both sites in this change, readers are told the new symbol is absent and changes to its carrier are omitted from the analysis document's dependency binding.

"RECOGNITION RULE, checkable before the model is authored: for an effect the corpus models, ask which route PRODUCTION takes and name it. If the answer is 'a different one', the model is not coverage of that effect no matter how thorough its witness -- and adding to the model widens the fork. The tell in a diff is a new modeled effect path landing with zero importers while a receipt module for the same effect already carries prose rows. ",

"RUNG FOUND AT: 1 (mitigatable) -- the fork is visible to a reader who asks the recognition question, and nothing structural prevents authoring the second home. CEILING: 3 (structurally guaranteed), because the property is decidable from the module graph: whether an effect declared in .dag has a production consumer at execution is exactly the reachability question the impact-query lens already answers over the Node tree. It is not 4, because the hand-authored route lives outside the substrate and its absence cannot be made unrepresentable by any construction inside it. ",

P2 Badge Do not attribute execution reachability to the impact query

The cited v2.lens.module_impact_query does not answer whether a declaration has a production consumer “at execution”: its ImpactReading traverses module dependency edges and carries no production-root, test-versus-production, call-site, or executed-path classification. A test-only reference or an otherwise unexecuted importer is therefore reachable in that graph without being the consumer this class requires, so this sentence overstates the existing capability and makes the rung-3 ceiling rationale misleading; the missing production-consumer join named in the next receipt still needs to be treated as missing.
