Closing: this PR would DELETE rows from the failure-mode projection, and it exists only because a local branch of mine got pushed.

Its entire diff is docs/design-failure-modes.md, removing rows other lanes landed — including instrument_blind_spot_anti_correlated_with_severity, refusal_names_a_comparison_and_prints_neither_side, docs_markdown_projections_have_no_completing_actuator and type_name_field_carries_rendered_value. It adds nothing.

How it happened, since the mechanism is worth recording. #10734 had already merged; I did not check that before merging main into its branch. The generated-artifact merge driver refused on this exact path and printed its recipe — finish the authority merge, push, and let heal-generated-artifacts derive the projection, do NOT regenerate or take a side locally. I resolved it --ours instead. That is precisely the hazard the driver exists to prevent: taking the ours side drops the other side's authority-derived bytes with no conflict markers, which gunbc.generated_artifact_merge_driver records as having happened twice on #7836.

Nothing reached main. session/sunny-carp-582 has already been reset to origin/main, and I am deleting sc582work with this close. The driver was right and I overrode it.
