Output Baseline Values Over Time

Hello,

I'm trying to return a dataframe that has the baseline values over time (that feed into the baseline contribution in plots like plot_contribution_waterfall_chart). I figured out how to extract these values using the analyzer's incremental_outcome() method but am unsure how to do this for the baseline values. I'm interested in this raw data so I can produce my own visualizations for channel and baseline contribution over time.

I use this to get the baseline out to CSV

mmm_data_analysis = analyzer.Analyzer(mmm)
decomp = mmm_data_analysis.expected_vs_actual_data(confidence_level = 0.9).to_dataframe()
decomp.to_csv(f"{model_folder_location}{modelv}_decomp_actual_vs_model.csv")

To extract the baseline contribution data over time from a Meridian model, the most straightforward approach is to use the Analyzer class. You can call the baseline_summary_metrics() method with aggregate_times set to False. This function is specifically designed to return a dataframe of the baseline values indexed by time.

If your goal is to create a channel contribution area chart that includes the baseline, this is now directly supported by our built-in plotting functions. You can find examples and instructions in our documentation on plotting media visualizations.
