  • Add parallel batch image loading (3-8x speedup)
  • Remove TensorFlow dependency from image.py (saves ~300MB)
  • Add streaming support for large datasets
  • Maintain full backward compatibility

Closes: TODO(eyvinec) about removing tf dependency
