Missing date and time on game slots

This applies to latest version 1.17.7. When selecting a Game Slot I only see, for example, Slot 1 - NORMAL -. There is no date or time.

yeah... mine also does not show a date and time but it does show the slot's custom name...

eg:
Slot 1 - NORMAL - Expedition 16 - The Cursed

going by your image, the default name is not being shown...
i don't recall if they ever did show the dates and times...

Maybe you're right about the date and time. After using the latest editor the purple location description is missing on the launch menu. Also the time for the file is not updated to that when saved by the editor. However, the edits are taking effect.

I'm not sure that i changed anything that could affect date and time, but I could be wrong.
It's tricky to display so much information on one small dropdown, so if you have any suggestions of how I could improve it I'll see what i can do.

EDIT: I'm thinking in the case where you have no name on your save, a date/time would probably be a good thing.

I'm not sure what is going on. NMS does not seem to be reading the time stamps correctly. All a bit confusing. I overwrote 1.17.6 with 1.17.7. Any chance of getting the 1.17.6 executable to test out where the issue may be? Thanks.

Thank you wkitty42. I found 1.17.6 and I got back date and time (see below). There still seems to be something strange with NMS itself. It behaves as if the game does not read the save directory, at least completely. Time stamps are not being updated after editing. Edit: Where does NMS get the date and time? Is it part of a file header? Maybe that's not being updated when saved by the editor. I give this as a possibility because after I save with the editor, the date and time disappear from the file in the drop down menu. Hope that makes sense.
