Bitfeed appears to cause Bitcoin Core to rescan recent blocks in a loop #2037

Description:
Hello, and thank you for your work on Bitfeed.
I’m running Umbrel OS and have noticed a recurring issue:
After several uses of Bitfeed (especially when displaying recent blocks), Bitcoin Core starts rescanning blocks from 1–2 hours ago, and continues rescanning in a loop until I restart Umbrel OS.

This significantly slows down and disrupts my node.

Environment and setup:

Umbrel OS (latest version)

Bitfeed installed via Umbrel App Store

Hardware: HP Compaq Pro 6300 with 4TB SSD and 16Go RAM

Bitcoin Core: Official Umbrel app

No unusual or custom apps running

What I observed:

The issue only happens after Bitfeed has been used a few times.

Bitcoin Core begins rescanning recent blocks (with no reorg).

The rescanning stops only after restarting Umbrel.

If I uninstall Bitfeed, the issue goes away completely.

Hypothesis:
Bitfeed might be accessing block files in a way that causes excessive I/O or conflicts, leading Bitcoin Core to believe a rescan is required.

Thank you in advance for looking into this. Let me know if you need any logs or further technical details.

Best regards,
Aubert66
