While this extension is very useful, it can be disruptive to have on while working in a tex/latex environment, where I want to leave \alpha as \alpha for the tex rendering engine, and not have it convert to the unicode α. I know it's possible to disable for individual workspaces, but is there a way it could be set through a user option to disable this for the latex language environment?

I'd really like that feature as well!
