Minor fix for previous release that caused non-fatal errors in output logs.

• A temporary directory is now used for log files and other run time files. Please remove the "logs" directory from your backup target path.
• Roles (users) are now backed up as well as databases.
• The "latest" directory is now symlinked instead of hard linked.
• Fix for Makefile that broke installation on Debian.
