Compulsory donation expected on top of FOSSASIA 2020 ticket, then returned to blank ticket page

Describe the bug

I just tried to register for the FOSSASIA 2020 Summit on Eventyay.com. It says the "Community Super Early Bird" ticket is available until 26 Dec, so I selected one of "Quantity" = 1 and clicked "order now" to pay. However, the system indicated it wanted me to enter a "donation ticket" amount of at least 119 SGD before proceeding. It seemed odd that I would need to pay for both an early bird ticket and a donation ticket, but I thought perhaps this was policy, since I'm not (yet) an active member of the FOSSASIA community. But when I entered the required donation amount and clicked 'order now', it just returned me to a blank ticket page.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to FOSSASIA 2020 ticket page
2. Select 1 'Community Super Early Bird' ticket
3. Scroll down to 'order now' button and click
4. Enter demanded donation amount in 'Donation Ticket' field
5. Click 'order now'

Expected behavior

I expected to be able to select a 'Community Super Early Bird" ticket, without any further donation, and with 'order now' proceeding to a payment processing page or pop-up.

• OS: Ubuntu 16.04 (Trisquel 8.0 variant)
• Python Version 2.7.12
• Browser: Firefox 68.0.2 64-bit (ABrowser variant)

Additional context

I am in China, so it could be that the Great Firewall is blocking some necessary script from a third-party domain? I also have the uBlock Origin and NoScript add-ons installed in my browser, but UO is turned off for the eventyay.com domain, and I tried setting NoScript to "disable restrictions for this tab" in the tab where I was trying to order my ticket from eventyay.com, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

Hey @strypey, This behaviour is not expected as you should be free to buy any ticket.
Also There is no policy by FOSSASIA to buy a compulsory Donation Ticket with a Community Bird Early Ticket
I suggest you to disable any blocker and try once again on an incognito tab. If you still experience this, Please share the Console Logs with us so that we can solve this on priority.

I tried this. I got a lot further this time. I was able to pre-order a ticket and proceed to the order processing page. I filled out the required information and clicked 'pay now'. I entered my card info in the pop-up and it displayed a green tick and disappeared. Then nothing, the order page still seemed to be waiting for me to pay. I trick looking under 'my tickets' but there's nothing there, under completed or open orders. The money doesn't appear to have left my account. FYI I'm not currently in China, so that's not the problem.

Because of these website problems I've missed the window for the super early bird ticket price. If there's any way I can get a ticket at the price that was available when I originally tried to register, and filed this bug, that would be awesome.
