Get the Windows binary installer from the downloads page. After unzipping, there is a install_multimarkdown.bat
file that will install the DLL's where they belong automatically.
If you create a shortcut to the multimarkdown.exe program, you can easily make drag and drop versions for both HTML and LaTeX. Under the "Target" property, you can add the following to add the batch
option to automatically convert files:
-b -t latex
to create a version that automatically processes into a .tex
file, or:
-b
to create a version that creates a .html
file.
I am not an expert at writing Windows software, so if there is something else that would make installation easier, or a proper place to put the multimarkdown.exe binary --- please let me know.
