perf(cake_dense_projection_det_gemm): swapped small-token forward programs with per-call PDL - #8372
The Cake deterministic dense projection GEMM (flashinfer.experimental.dense_projection_det_gemm) runs a batched BF16 forward of few tokens against many weight rows (a grouped projection such as the attention output projection, out[l] = A[l] @ B[l] on token-major strided views) on its 256 x 256 CTA-pair tile with a 2-way stream-K split. This PR adds two programs that put the weight rows in the MMA's M and the tokens in its N (64 or 128 weight rows per CTA over a 12- or 8-stage TMA ring, single CTA, no split, the strided views read and written in place), routes the batched forward rows of at most 256 tokens whose tiles fit two waves of the device to them, and adds a per-call enable_pdl whose launch loads the weights ahead of the dependency wait. Against cuBLAS (torch.bmm on the same views) and the previous Cake program:

Walkthrough
The deterministic dense-projection backend adds a swapped BF16 forward path for eligible workloads, with optional PDL and architecture-specific CUDA programs. The change also updates the general GEMM wrapper, adds tests and documentation, and edits synchronization spans in existing kernels.

Register and implement swapped programs flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_det_gemm/cake_jit.py, flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_det_gemm/csrc/cake_dense_projection_det_gemm/*, flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_det_gemm/build.json
The JIT registry and build manifest include swapped programs for supported architectures. Their bindings validate tensors and launch parameters, construct TMA maps, and pass the PDL launch option. The CUDA programs load matrix tiles, compute results, and write BF16 output.
Select and route eligible launches flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_det_gemm/cake_backend.py, flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_gemm/cake_backend.py
The deterministic backend checks shape, layout, alignment, and tile-count conditions before launching a cached swapped program. Other calls use the planner path. The general GEMM wrapper forwards enable_pdl on deterministic routes.
Validate and document swapped launches tests/experimental/test_cake_dense_projection_det_gemm.py, tests/experimental/test_cake_dense_projection_det_gemm_names.py, tests/experimental/test_cake_dense_projection_gemm.py, flashinfer/experimental/dense_projection_det_gemm/README.md
Tests cover template registration and selection, numerical results, declined inputs, repeatability, PDL dependencies, and graph replay. The README describes the eligibility conditions and PDL behavior.
Most changed spans retain the existing cluster barriers and only alter whitespace or duplicate diff representation. Three spans add __syncwarp() before the cluster barriers, and two remove a duplicate barrier pair.

Use a two-wave shape and assert both swapped launches.
The current second projection has N = 4096, M = 96, and L = 8. Its wide tile uses 512 CTAs, which exceeds two waves on a 148–160-SM device. swap_ab_template therefore returns None, so the second launch uses the planner path instead of the swapped program. Because the capture uses a new stream, the stream-specific planner cache can perform planning and workspace setup during capture. The README does not support capturing this convenience path.
The test does not assert the routing of either launch. Use R=2048 for the second projection and assert both launches before capture:

Update the second _swap_views call to use R=2048, then assert before capture
that both the initial projection and the dependent projection using A2 select
the swapped launch path. Use the test’s existing launch-routing check.

…grams with per-call PDL
A batched forward of few tokens against many weight rows (the grouped attention output projection: 8 groups,
4096 -> 1024, 16-256 tokens on token-major views) ran the 256 x 256 pair tile with 2-way stream-K, because the
planner's swapped plan had no program. Two generated programs now serve it: the weight rows in the MMA's M and
the tokens in its N, 64 or 128 weight rows over a 12- or 8-stage TMA ring, single CTA, no split, reading the
caller's strided views through tensor maps and storing in place. The convenience path routes the rows the
planner swaps (L > 1, M <= 256, N >= 2M) when K is a multiple of 64, the views are 16-byte aligned and the
wide tile fits two waves of the device's SMs; the narrow tile while it fits one wave.
dense_projection_det_gemm (and dense_projection_gemm) take enable_pdl: the swapped programs launch as
programmatic dependent launches whose weight loads run ahead of the wait.
Tests: correctness across 1-256 tokens on token-major and contiguous views and other shapes, the rows that stay
on the planner, bitwise repeatability, a PDL chain whose producer triggers its dependent at entry, a CUDA graph
replay of a PDL chain.

Reject output batches that overlap.
If out_l < M * ldo, this check still accepts an aligned output view. For example, an as_strided view can give every batch the same output storage. The swapped kernel uses out_l to address each batch, so CTAs for different batches can overwrite each other and return incorrect results. Require out_l >= M * ldo, as the existing planner path does.
