Yes, I noticed the same issue in pillow-avif-plugin. I wasn't able to figure out the underlying cause (other than noticing that the build succeeded with version 2.322.0 of the runner image and failed with 2.323.0), but I found that using the action from github.com/dtolnay/rust-toolchain to install the rust toolchain seems to fix it. I don't know whether or not the addition of that action would be acceptable for Pillow. |

Interesting, thanks. I've created AOMediaCodec/libavif#2703 to see if the libavif community has anything to offer here. |

I'm guessing it's some sort of rust problem. If it isn't fixed in the next week, then we might need to exclude rav1e from the Windows wheels in this Pillow release.
