naerskin favour of nixpkgs' buildRustPackageI was not able to use nix to build for mac as it was failing for some reason and I don't own a mac so it's hard for me to debug this one. The current macos build doesn't seem to be a static build and it's also not a aarch build. Maybe someone else can take care of building for mac :)
