Sorry, the photo was not in the mail notification!
It works fine without both components.
The resistor is useless from what I can tell.
The capacitor is actually part of the power supply. You should not need it.

I think the same thing about capacitors.... i do a test with a 220 ohm
resistor and it seems to work better than before without a resistor....

Ich habe das hier grade zufällig entdeckt und hoffe es ist ok wenn ich auf deutsch antworte. Ich beschäftige mich grade mit dem Bau einer LED Uhr mithilfe eines D1 Mini. Dort bin ich ebenso auf die Sache mit dem Widerstand gestoßen. Dort wird es wie folgt erklärt:
Bilder hier zu finden: Im Beispiel ist ein LDR mit verbaut zur Anpassung an die Umgebungshelligkeit. Davon bitte nicht verwirren lassen. Vielleicht hat das auch bei dem D1 versuch für Probleme gesorgt? Werde es jedenfalls wenn meine Teile für die Uhr ankommen mal testen. Bzgl. des Widerstands bei Arduino hatte ich folgende Angaben gefunden:

Hello! Suddely yesterday leds don't works anymore. Today, they start to working again, also rebooting they work perfectly. Just one thing: I do not read information about resistors or capacitors in the electrical circuit.
Also i found a photo were are installed a capacitor and a resistor. Do they actually serve?
