eTrain is an open-source media player written in Java. It incorporates the Sphinx4 voice recognition software developed at Carnegie Melon University.

Media can be played with user-defined voice commands. Artists, albums, and playlists can all be started in this way. Audio and video files can be started by clicking images of the user's choice, such as a photo of a musician or a screenshot of a film.
